Trading journal
Trading journal software to track and analyse your trades
UNFLD is an online trading journal for forex, futures and prop firm traders. Log each trade with its levels, its setup and what you were thinking, and UNFLD turns that history into numbers you can act on: which setups pay, which habits cost you, and where your risk drifts.

01
Log every trade in one place
Enter trades by hand on any plan, including ones that are still open. On Gold, import a statement from MT4, MT5, a prop firm dashboard or Tradovate as a CSV file. On Platinum, connect a cTrader account and new trades sync once a day, or whenever you press Sync now.
UNFLD only reads your trading history. It never places, changes or closes a trade.
- Entry, stop and target, with risk-to-reward worked out from the levels rather than typed in
- Risk used, time held and the session the trade was taken in
- Screenshots of the trade, and a P&L card to share it as an image

02
Record why you took it, not just what happened
A trade log tells you the result. A journal tells you why. Each trade can carry the strategy behind it, an A, B or C grade, your thesis going in and your review afterwards, the emotions you noticed and the confluences that lined up.
Strategies are written once on the Strategies page, with their model, their confluences and how you trade them. Pick one when you journal a trade, and its confluences become that trade's rules checklist: tick them all and the trade followed your rules.
03
See what is actually working
Analytics read straight from your journal, so there are no formulas to keep up to date. Performance, risk and consistency sit on one screen, then the same trades are broken down so a pattern has somewhere to show up.
- Net P&L, win rate, profit factor, average win against average loss, and average R
- Max drawdown, best and worst trade, win and loss streaks, and long against short
- P&L by asset, by setup, by weekday and by month, and a daily P&L calendar
- On Gold, P&L by strategy, weekday, grade and the hour you opened

Review your history and find your habits
The Journal page opens with your habits at a glance. From the trades you have journalled, UNFLD lists the emotions, confluences, strategies and grades that turn up on more of your losers than your winners, and the ones that do the opposite. It waits until it has at least 10 decided trades, with 3 wins and 3 losses, before it names any.
A weekly and monthly recap tells the story of your results, your best and worst trades and how you graded what you took.
05

Questions
What is a trading journal?
A record of every trade you take, with the levels, the size, the result and the reasoning behind it. Kept honestly, it shows which setups make money, which habits lose it, and whether you are following your own rules.
Is UNFLD's trading journal free?
Yes. The free plan includes the full journal and core analytics for 1 trading account, with trades entered by hand. Gold is £19.99 a month or £199.99 a year and adds unlimited accounts and CSV import; Platinum adds live sync. There is no trial clock on the free plan.
Can I import my trades?
On Gold, statements from MT4, MT5, prop firm dashboards and Tradovate import from a CSV file. On Platinum, cTrader accounts also sync once a day or whenever you press Sync now. On any plan you can enter trades by hand.
How is this better than a spreadsheet?
Risk-to-reward is worked out from the levels you enter, the analytics update as you journal, and trades are broken down by setup, symbol, weekday and month without a single formula. The habits summary finds the traits that keep turning up on your losing trades.
Can UNFLD place trades on my account?
No. UNFLD only reads your trading history. It never places, changes or closes a trade.
Can I look around before signing up?
Yes. The demo opens the real app with sample data, with no account needed. Nothing in it can be changed.
