Smart money concepts
Finding a zone on the higher timeframe, then a tighter entry inside it on the lower one.
Refinement is how smart money traders get small stops from big zones. Mark a point of interest (an order block, FVG or supply/demand zone) on the higher timeframe. When price reaches it, drop to a lower timeframe and wait for a sweep and a change of character inside the zone, then enter at the small order block or FVG that move leaves.
Two related bits of slang: compression is a tight, stair-stepping approach into a zone, read as building liquidity before the reaction. Return to origin (RTO) means price coming back to the base or order block where an impulsive move began.
