A false move at the open that runs one way first, before the real move the other way.
Illustration, not real market data.
What it is
The Judas swing is a quick move early in a session (often around the London or New York open) that goes the opposite way to the day's real direction. It runs stops above or below the early range, then reverses.
It's the manipulation phase of Power of 3, seen on a single session.
How to spot it
A fast push at the open into a nearby high or low, often a sweep of the Asia or pre-market range.
A quick rejection and a shift in structure back the other way.
How to use it
Let the false move play out, then trade the market structure shift in the other direction.
