Chart patterns
Higher highs and lower lows at the same time: a market getting more volatile, not less.
A broadening formation, or megaphone, is the opposite of a triangle: each swing high is higher and each swing low lower, so the lines through them spread apart. It shows growing disagreement and volatility, often near the end of a long move.
In ICT and smart money terms, each new high and low is also a sweep of the last one, which is why these ranges are hard to trade.
